Neoclassical style marble and porcelain pedestal
French, late 19th Century

This fine column-form pedestal is crafted in the Neoclassical style from Sèvres style porcelain, gilt bronze, and marble. The shaft is set on a tiered marble base, and supports a square marble top. The pedestal is the ideal piece upon which to display to its best a porcelain vase.
