Object Description
This Provincial Charles I silver seal top spoon was made in Exeter C1638 by John Lavers and measures 6 7/8 inches in length, it is engraved to the back of the bowl with the pin prick initials of TL 1638 and is struck thrice to the back of the stem with the makers mark and in the bowl with the town mark, it has a nicely defined seal to the top of the stem which bears the pin prick initials of BB and is in very good condition weighing 1.10 ounces or 34 grams.
