Object Description
This nice quality early Charles II silver puritan spoon was made in London in 1661 by William Cary and measures just over 7 inches in length, it is clearly hallmarked to the back of the stem and in the bowl with the leopards head, it also bears the pin prick initials of AH to the back of the stem and the bowl is well formed and of good gauge and it weighs 1.75 ounces or 55 grams, a nice quality spoon.
