Object Description
This nice quality Charles II silver wine taster was made in London in 1669 by Gilbert Sheppard and measures 5.25 inches handle to handle by almost 3.75 inches in dia and is 1.25 inches deep. It is typically decorated with punch beading in floral designs and the handles are plain. It is fully and clearly hallmarked to the side and is in very good condition weighing 2.7 ounces or 84 grams.
