Imposing oak drumhead case with cast brass bezel, decorative carving, stepped base and standing on pad feet.
Painted dial with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands signed ‘Goodman Brothers, Kings Road, Chelsea’.
Substantial finely made fusee movement with anchor escapement and regulating pendulum.c. 1900
‘Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the world’ by Brian Loomes lists the Goodman Brothers as working in Kings Road, Chelsea c.1900

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
