Object Description
A good quality English made mantel clock, dating to the early 20th Century. It has an domed top case, fretwork back panel lined with red silk . The cast brass bezel has a bevel edge glass with an engraved silvered dial which has a subsidiary rise and fall regulation dial within the arch and is signed by the original retailers Lawson & Co Brighton. It has an 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a gong and was made by the renown firm of Gillet and Johnston of Croydon.
