Oak Dome Top Mantel Clock

Object Description

A small good quality English made mantel clock, dating to the early 20th Century. It has an domed top case, with carved decoration to the base and fretwork side panels lined with red silk . The cast brass bezel has a bevel edge glass with an engraved silvered dial and is signed by the original retailers Davidson Of Cheapside London. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform and was made by the renown firm of Gillet and Johnston of Croydon.

Object Condition
