Old mine fancy yellow diamond drop earrings. A matching pair of earrings set to bottom with a cushion shape old mine fancy yellow diamond, one SI1 clarity, approximately 1.40 carats, the other VS2 clarity, 1.62 carats, both set in open back claw settings, suspended from a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 1.70 carats, decorated further with seven round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, fourteen in total with a combined weight of 0.28 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.00 carats, to an impressive pair of articulated drop earrings, flowing with movement, featuring curving claws and polished borders, decorative pierced details, and open backholing, approximately 3cm in length, fitted to reverse with a secure post and circular disc fitting. Marked white and yellow gold and tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) reports #2155548287 and #5151548288.
