Orientalist porcelain plaque in the style of KPM

Plaque: Height 54cm, width 43cm, depth 0.5cm
This fine and exceptionally large porcelain plaque is painted with a scene in the 19th Century European Orientalist manner. The piece portrays an Arab man standing against a column, his surroundings distinctively Islamic in style and manner of architecture and decoration.
The plaque is contained within a carved wooden frame, is signed lower right, and is marked to the reverse with a spurious KPM mark.
