Object Description
An exceptionally pretty French white marble four glass clock, profusely adorned with decorative ormolu mounts, dating from the 1870s and in excellent original condition.
The perfect 4″ white enamel Arabic dial is beautifully painted with garlands of flowers between each of the numbers. The engine turned bezel is fitted with convex bevelled glass.
The French movement is signed for Vincenti et Cie, and strikes the number of hours and the passing of the half hours on a bell, with gilt sunburst pendulum.
