A very decorative and ornate antique wrought iron pedestrian gate circa 1900, one of two similar we have for sale.

Traditionally handcrafted, this Victorian garden gate features stunning scrollwork and intricate foliage decoration to the front side that is truly a testament to the skills of its maker. Its scrolling top evokes a sense of fluid movement, looking stunning in any outdoor space. Adding to its beauty is an original, working, double-handed latch, equally as ornate as the rest of the piece.

Finished in black paint and restored to a good standard, this antique pedestrian gate is ready for placement in your garden, supplied with all hinge components for hanging.

Suitable for an opening of approx. 111 cm (43.70 in)

Good structural condition. Restored within the last 5 years. Finished in black paint. Paint in good condition. Original double-handed latch. Decorative floral embellishments to front side of gate only. Various minor historic repairs. Small losses. Supplied with replacement hinge eyes.

FROM THE M50 / ROSS-ON-WYE

At the end of the M50, take the A40 towards Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Take the A49 Hereford Road (third roundabout after leaving the M50). Ignore the first two signposts for Wormelow, stay on the A49 for approximately nine miles and take the next left turn after passing the Pilgrim Hotel, signed A466 Wormelow. Follow the road for approximately 400 meters. We are located halfway down the hill on the right-hand side. The site is called: Grove Farm / The Grove.

FROM A49 HEREFORD

Follow the A49 south from Hereford for approximately five miles. After the uphill section at the Callow, there is a layby on your right followed by one on your left. Take the next right turn onto the A466 signed Wormelow / Monmouth. Follow the road for approximately 400 meters. We are located halfway down the hill on the right-hand side. The site is called: Grove Farm / The Grove.
