Object Description
Art Deco Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring by Oscar Heyman Brothers. Set to centre with three square step cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphires in open back rubover channel settings with an approximate combined weight of 9.50 carats, the shoulders set with ten rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats, and further enhanced by twenty round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.10 carats, to an asymmetrical geometric cluster design with a closed gallery and fancy backholing, proceeding to curved trumpeting shoulders and terminating in a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, American, circa 1925, accompanied by Oscar Heyman Brothers authenticity certificate and a Gemmological Certification Services report #80237-23.
