Object Description
Oscar Heyman Brothers Burmese sapphire and diamond ballerina ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats, encircled by an undulating row of twenty tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.80 carats, to a ballerina cluster design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by raised split shoulders and flowing down to a solid D-shape tapering shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker’s mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, numbered ‘19636’, American, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3639.
