Object Description
Each measuring over a metre tall, these large, oversized torchiere wall sconces make a statement in any setting. They are over 130 years old, dating from the 1890s and likely once graced the halls of a prestigious stately home. Made in bronze, these antique torchieres are as history has left them with no restoration, looking as they once did in the Victorian age. They have an ancient-looking copper Verdigris colour and frosted flame-shaped finial shades, making for a striking pair either side of a large doorway or in an entrance hall or interior with high ceilings. These antique wall lights can be fitted to an internal space or sheltered external porch area.
