Object Description
Circa 1910, Carolean-style oyster veneered walnut sideboard. The oyster veneered rectangular top with herringbone inlay and moulded edge sits above 3 oak-lined drawers with brass drop handles. This is over an open recess with moulded fore-edge and fluted canted corners, raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs with scroll brackets and joined by a wavy stretcher. It is a quality piece made by Gill & Reigate of Oxford St London, furnishers to King George V.
