One partridge is looking after her young chicks. Removable, original pots. Colouration: green, brown, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Lonitz pottery. Stand with chicks: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Stand upper section reglued around trunk behind the partridge and join retouched. Filled chips to a few of the oak leaves on the top of the stand. The associated pot has stabilised and retouched cracks throughout. The piece stands slightly askew, so I attached a small pad to the base to level it out. Stand without chicks: Good. RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to two beaks. Filled chips to two reed leaf tips. Two oak leaves around top with filled chips. One oak leaf reglued and join retouched. The associated pot with stabilised and retouched hairline to rim and retouched flakes throughout.
