Object Description

Pair of Kent Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a cat, stood directly on the ground, no base. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. Maker’s marks painted to the underside. Book reference ,’Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875′ Book 4, by A.& N. Harding, page 158, figure 4590/4591.

Object Condition

Right facing: Very good. No restoration. Paint loss to the cat’s right ear. Left facing: Good. No restoration. Small flake to cat’s right ear.
