Object Description

Pair of Minton Majolica jardinières which feature lilies. The flower stems growing up from the feet, into flowering blooms, the ground in the form of leaves. Colouration: green, pink, pale blue, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, ‘9 and 10’. N.B: The external glazes are opaque and less glosssy than the glazes more often found on Victorian Minton Majolica

Object Condition

Very Good. No restoration. A couple of inconspicuous flakes on one. Both with slight wear and kiln grit caught in the glaze to interior at the bottom from use.
