Object Description
A pair of fine quality George III silver wine coasters , which are plain in style with a reeded border to the upper and lower parts.
These elegant coasters still retain their original turned oak bases and are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks.
They are made in London in 1799 by Richard Cooke.
Richard Cooke entered his makers mark on the 28 June 1799 and was a very fine maker.
Dimensions, diameter 12.5 cm, height 3.1 cm.
