Object Description
A pair of antique stained glass panels of liquor signed by Mon Giot, Vitraux, Paris. This pair of stained glass panels showcase bright and vivid images of two liquor bottles; cherry cognac and grand marnier, marked 1827. Both allow the glass to be quite the statement piece with a Parisian cafe allure, perfect for a French style property or quirky period home.
This vibrant piece was previously owned by Seymour Stein – music executive and co-founder of Sire Records, who launched the careers of Madonna, Talking Heads, and the Ramones.
Dating to the early 20th century, these stained glass windows have stood the test of time, the colours brilliantly vibrant and the hand-painted writing on the bottles still clear and distinguishable after more than 120 years.
