Circa 1760
A Pair of Chippendale Period Carved Mahogany Side Chairs with leaf carved open pierced backs and serpentine fronted upholstered seats; standing on shaped moulded square legs with leaf carved corner brackets joined by H stretchers. The seats have been newly reupholstered in the traditional manner and recovered in a wonderful Gainsborough silk damask fabric and braided silk trim detail.
