Object Description
A pair of fine early George III style cast tapersticks which stand on square bases.
Each column is ornamented with a plain circular knop and the lower portion is encompassed with further rope-twist decoration.
These lovely tapersticks are direct copies of a traditional late George II/early George III style by Ebenezer Coker or William Cafe.
They are made in exactly the same way as the originals (these copies are perhaps a little heavier in weight).
They are in good, crisp condition.
Dimensions: height 15.5 cm, width (of base) 7.55 cm; weight 21.5 troy oz.
