Lothar Klute (1946-) is a German artist and designer. He trained as a blacksmith in Mailar and studied sculpture in Aachen. Klute produced a number of public sculptures in Berlin in the 1970s, and has a sculpture park dedicated to his work at Galerie Klute in Waldemai. With his wife Gisela Klute, an interior designer, he created exceptionally imaginative and elegant pieces of furniture for which he is now best known.
Cal Smith Gallery represents Lothar Klute in the UK.
Condition: Good condition, due to the nature of the hand-cast glass, some air bubbles appear on the surface.
