Object Description
Pair of English engraved and cut glass sweet bowls
English, 20th Century
Height 16cm, diameter 12cm
With a quaint, humble and charming character, these near-identical glass bowls were made in England during the twentieth century, and make a pleasing home addition. While small in stature, they feature a refined and elegant combination of smooth, circular arcs with cross-cutting patterns. Shaped like urns, with short narrow stems on circular bases, a main body that gets wider as it rises, they also are fitted with matching lids to cap each piece, making a fine and delightful homeware addition.
