Object Description
A pair of French late 19th century fine quality bronze and gilt bronze table lamps.
This pair of table lamps each consist of gilt bronze foliate decoration to the top with shaped and fluted bronze design leading down to a gilt bronze laurel wreath collar with reeded bronze urn with foliate decoration and paterae below leading down to gilt bronze acanthus and laurel wreath designs.
The lamps having two gilt bronze handles to either side of tapering scrolling form with laurel wreath decoration to the top.
The lamps are each supported on a square rouge marble stepped plinth base with gilt bronze applied and recessed mounts, standing on four gilt bronze laurel wreath feet.
The lamps have recently been professionally rewired and PAT tested, please note the shades are not included in the list price.
This pair of lamps are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
