The winged cupid figures are clad in a loincloth Stand in a classical contrapposto opposing each other on a globe with a stylized foliage vignette decoration. Each cupid is holding a quiver-shaped central stem issuing three s-shaped candle arms with nozzles and foliage decoration.
Rare pair of wall lights or sconces in the manner of the important French bronzier Claude-Francois Rabiat (1756-1815) displaying excellent chiseling and gilding.
The pair of appliques consist of holes of a former electrification at the back of the candle arms, a re-electrification can easily be done.
