Pair of French Early 19th Century Empire/Charles X Gilt Bronze Candlesticks

Object Description

Pair of Empire/Charles X gilt bronze candlesticks, each with a fluted stem, highlighted on top and bottom by finely chased foliate. The cannellure cast sockets with removable nozzles. The stem rests on a circular base accented by acanthus leaves and skirted by flower heads.
