Object Description
Circa 1850. Pair of French Louis Phillipe rosewood open armchairs. The shaped upholstered back with a foliate carved crest, the moulded frame extending down to partially upholstered arms on foliate carved curved supports. The generous upholstered seats above shaped seat rails with foliate carving. All supported on fluted carved cabriole legs with scrolled toes.
