Object Description
A pair of walnut bergeres or armchairs, each with a curved padded back. The top rail shaped to form a shallow arched and fluted top. The arm-rests descend to a spiral scroll to overlap the arm-supports, which sweep down again to meet the front legs. with a rounded seat rail, the seat upholstered with a loose cushion on fluted, tapered legs. Front legs surmounted by stylized leaf paterae. Newly upholstered.
