Object Description
Circa 1880. A pair of exhibition quality French pink variegated marble top bedside pedestals, the tops in wonderful pink variegated marble within a moulded frame, the frieze with a full-length drawer with broad banding, inlay and geometric parquetry, flanked by a pair of gilded mounts, below a cupboard with a similar handle and a sunburst in geometric patterns with satinwood and kingwood inlay, the frieze with a stylish mount, resting of four square tapering inlaid legs, intersected by a shelf with similar inlay to the doors, on cast brass feet, the pair of pedestals are polished on all sides making them freestanding.
