Object Description

A pair of superb large neoclassical eighteenth century silver candlesticks which stand on square bases with beaded borders, which also have decorations of bows and swags , very much in the taste of Robert Adam.

The candlesticks are in beautiful condition.

One candlestick edge bears the number 4 and the number 43 indicating that they were originally part of a set of 4. The weight of all four before being filled was 43 troy oz.

A wonderful pair of candlesticks over 240 years old.

Dimensions, height 12.25 inches, 31.5 cm.
