A wonderful rare early pair of Georgian old Sheffield plate candelabra in Neo-classical style made circa 1780.
The two-light candelabra branches can be removed so one could use them as a pair of candlesticks. The candelabra have circular beaded bases leading to fluted stems and the knop of the candlestick has acanthus leaf decoration. The matching branches have detachable nozzles and a lovely fixed central urn surmounted by an acorn.
An excellent and attractive pair of early candelabra in first -class condition.
