Object Description

A Pair of George III Polychrome-Decorated Satinwood Console Tables. In the manner of Seddon, Sons and Shackleton.

Each with a rectangular top with rounded front corners and painted with a border of ribbon-entwined foliate garlands. The panelled apron centred to the front with a neoclassical urn. On square tapering legs.

England, Circa 1800

The painted decoration on shimmering satinwood veneers make these side tables attributable to Messrs. Seddon, Sons and Shackleton of Aldersgate Street.
