Object Description

A rare pair of Georgian silver grape scissors/shears in Kings pattern and engraved with the crest of the 43rd Monmouthshire light infantry, who were stationed in Gibraltar when these were made.
They are in good condition.
A rare early patterned pair of grape scissors with an interesting military provenance.
Dimensions: length 17 cm; weight 3.4 troy oz.
