Object Description
Circa 1825, pair of George IV rosewood card tables. With well figured, hinged rosewood tops, opening to an oval felt surface and small compartment beneath. The shaped frieze with quality foliate, S and C scroll carvings, over an unusual faceted and tapering stem with a flared, carved collar below. The concaved platform base finishes on four well-formed carved paw feet with concealed castors. Size 76 cm high x 91 cm wide x 44 cm deep (closed)
