Object Description

A pair of antique silver cafe au lait pots in the early 18th century Queen Anne style c. 1705.

The pots have pear-shaped bodies and cut-card work to the lids and lower parts of the bodies.

They are both engraved with a family crest of a lion.

They are in excellent condition.

The hot milk jug is made in 1922 and the coffee pot in 1926.

The pots are made by the Royal goldsmith, Sebastian Garrard of London.

The capacity of the coffee pot is 700 ml and the milk pot is also 700 ml.

Dimensions: height (of pots) 21.5 cm; weight 37 troy oz.
