Object Description
A pair of tall German Empire mahogany pedestal cabinets, probably Berlin from around 1810. An opposing pair, made of solid mahogany with further flame mahogany veneer, the doors framed and opening to a two shelf interior, surmounted by a flamed mahogany frieze and a stepped section functioning as the base for a sculpture or similar item.
Locks of different manufacture, one with a key and one opening by mechanical pressure.
An attractive pair, plain in its decoration, an ideal display cabinet for traditional or modern sculpture.
