Object Description
Each floor lamp in this pair is constructed from gilt bronze and designed in a Neoclassical manner to imitate the appearance of a Corinthian column. Each lamp is formed from a fluted shaft that is surmounted in a Corinthian capital, above which springs the lighting fixture. Each column shaft stands on a gilt bronze podium, mounted on each side with gilt bronze classical motifs, and supported by a stepped base, which in turn is raised by four lion paw feet.
