Object Description
Circa 1930’s. Pair of inlaid kingwood side tables, lampstands or bedside lockers with dummy library book fronts. The serpentine-shaped tops in quartered kingwood with boxwood inlay and a low three-quarter gallery above a single frieze drawer with brass handle and two drawers with faux book fronts opening to cupboards. The side with shaped panels of geometrically arranged veneers. All supported on tapering cabriole legs with brass sabots in front.
