Object Description
A pair of large 18th century Italian Rococo carved giltwood pricket candlesticks, one of the three sides being gilt and the other two sides being silver gilt making them very versatile !
These impressive candlesticks each consist of a circular top with iron candle ‘spike’ with foliate carved decoration leading down to further floral and foliate designs and scroll decoration with lattice carving.
The tripod bases with carved scrolling foliate decoration supported on scrolling carved feet.
This pair of candlesticks are in very good condition for age and can go straight into a home etc.
