Object Description
A pair of late 19th century (circa 1890) Chinese hardwood shaped pot stands or low tables with marble inset tops.

This leads down to a deep moulding with a carved and pierced frieze below with foliate carving, the top of the legs consisting of a carved dragon face leading down to foliate carved decoration, the cabriole legs supported by a shaped stretcher terminating with ball and claw feet.
This pair of pot stands are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home – these are very versatile pieces and could be used as stands, low tables, coffee tables etc.
