Object Description
Circa 1860. A pair of early quality Victorian mahogany carver armchairs. The raised shaped back with large carved flower in the center, the upright is carved back is pierced, with two elegant, shaped arms supported on solid uprights. Each of the chairs has a deep buttoned pleated leather seat (original). Back legs are square and slightly out swept, front cabriole legs with a scrolling section on the top, finished on a curved toe with an unusual brass castor.
