Object Description
A super pair of 20th century mahogany bergère armchairs in the Sheraton style.
This pair of armchairs each consist of a square moulded top rail sweeping down to moulded arms supported by turned and tapering reeded column armrests.
The backs and sides with original canework all in good order with loose cushions to the back and seat with bolster cushions all finished in a green fabric.
This leads down to a moulded seat rail, the armchairs supported on turned and tapered reeded legs to the front with splay legs to the back all with brass castors.
This pair of armchairs are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home – the chairs are very comfortable to sit in and the loose cushions are in in good order other than one of the bolster cushions has an ink stain.
