Pair of North Italian Partially Silvered Corner Console Tables, 1st half of 18th Century

Object Description

A pair of 18th century North Italian pale green carved corner console tables with a silvered top above a frieze carved with foliage rocaille and scrolls, on cabriole leg terminating in a scrolled foot. The warm yellowish green surface corresponds nicely with the colder silvered top. An extravagant design with the original surface decoration from 18th century, displaying age, character and a beautifully patinated surface.

Object Condition

The paintwood and silverwood console tables are in very good condition with a consolidated surface where necessary; wear consistent with age and use – detailed condition report on request
