Object Description

Pair Minton Secessionist No.1 vases with purple, blue and white slip-trailed decoration. Art nouveau stylised patterns. Dark green tube lined outlines. Cream interior and base. Maker’s marks including printed ‘MINTONS LTD NO.1’ to bases, also inscribed mark ‘5652’.

Object Condition

Very Good. No restorations. Both vases with some manufacturing effects: patchiness to the purple glaze; thin glaze application in places; a few glaze pops on rims and feet.
