A Very Good Quality, Early 19th Century, Regency Period, Pair Of Rosewood Lamp Tables, Or End Tables, Having Superbly Figured Square Tops Retaining Exceptional Colour, Raised On Elegant Turned And Faceted Central Supports With Carved Decoration To Bottom, Terminating On Triform Bases And Original Turned Bun Feet.
Its extremely rare to find any kind of antique tables still in their original pairs, whether that be wine tables, lamp tables, end tables, card tables, or any other form of table one cares to think of. Pairs of any item of furniture are generally rather sought after and this lovely pair are certainly no exception.
They are a great size, big enough to be functional and useful, but not so big that they are difficult to find spots for. They are perfect for a couple of corners, either side of a settee, next to some chairs, in the hallways, beside a bed, or a whole selection of other spaces around the home.
Dating to the late regency period they are constructed from superbly decorative, well figured rosewood which retains a good colour. They also boast attractive, elegant stems which have crisply carved decoration.
As with all items which we offer for sale this pair of end tables have been attended to in our workshops by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers and received a natural wax polish to ensure that they are in the best possible condition before being placed on sale.
