Object Description
A fine pair of Sheraton period West Indian satinwood demilune console tables, each of hemispherical form raised upon slender baluster legs joined by bow shaped stretchers, decorated with kingwood banding, exotic wood inlays and polychrome painting, the tops with a central inlaid urn with serpent handles surrounded by a painted wreath of blue convolvulus, both stretchers repaired, English, circa 1800.
