Object Description
A pair of striking Victorian era brass monopedia dragons mounted on contrasting sienna marble bases, circa 1880.
Once decorative or supporting brackets for furniture or architecture, these dragon sculptures each have a dramatic s-shaped silhouette, making eye-catching display pieces on columns in a hallway or placed either side of a mantelpiece.
Freestanding, each monopodia has a mythological design with a snarling dragon head to the top above a clawed foot to the base.
Dimensions for each. Weight for the set: 12.5kg
