Object Description
Pair of yellow moulded glass Daum Art Nouveau period frames
French, early 20th Century
Height 28cm, width 24cm, depth 4cm, depth when open 21cm
These elegant Daum frames are fine examples of Art Nouveau period French design. The frames are crafted from moulded glass, the texturally rich yellow glass finished with leafy sprays laden with berries and fruit in high relief. The glass is wonderfully formed and variegated in colour, sometimes appearing yellow, sometimes amber. The frames feature wooden backs and easel stands, and are signed ‘Daum France’.
