Right facing: Generally good. Small flake to base edge. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the sheep’s face; a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the sheep’s body and ground. RESTORATION: Remodelled left ear. Stabilised and retouched hairline to top of left front leg. Left facing: Generally good. Under rim chip with associated tight hairline. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: faint, over glazed shrinkage lines to the base; a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base. RESTORATION: Remodelled hind left leg. Stabilised and retouched crack to the ground at the reverse and under the tail.
